Shooters who appear at the competition, not in a school uniform, shall be disqualified from the shooting contest. Uniform color shall be at the discretion of the participant. Uniform: All participants shall wear their official school team uniform, which shall be the uniform jersey and shorts. There will be no substitutes or alternates in the 3-Point Challenge. If your team advances to the State Championships, you are not eligible to compete in the 3-Point Challenge. The top four players in each division will be notified the week of February 21 for girls and the week of February 28 for boys and asked to commit to the challenge by Saturday of the Regional Finals (February 26 girls March 5 boys). Most coaches find it easiest to enter stats shortly after games and keep on top of things throughout the year. It is extremely important that you have shooting stats for ALL games for players updated prior to each checkpoint date. Those “checkpoints” are December 20th, January 20th, and the end of the regular season. However, there will be several “checkpoints” when coaches will be required to have stats updated in order for a player to be eligible at the end of the season. Stats will again be based on the information entered into the database. Please take note of an important but slight change in the submission rules as recommended by the WIAA Coaches Advisory Committee and approved by the WIAA Board of Control. (Minimum of 75 3-point shots during the regular season.)
